100% of donations on Steam will go to godotengine.org - an engine where the game was crafted, free and open source.
AI usage
All the art is hand-painted:
AI was used for some coding help, texts checks and composition, sketches.

I just thought you might like to know that, tonight, a five-month-old kitten watched your peaceful animations for about twenty minutes or so... until his eyelids grew heavy, and he fell asleep.
So this can be enjoyed by all animals, not just humans.
Wow, thanks for posting this :)
Hello! I've been having a great time with this game. Brilliant concept and execution. However, I can't tell if I'm stuck at level 55 or if I just need more exp. The progress bar has been full for a while. Thanks!
Hi, I'm glad you are enjoying the game :)
55 is default level cap. You can increase it: in Path -> Sow Seeds add points to Wisdom Level Cap and Rebirth.
Another way to increase it is through the "Tier" Milestone, no Rebirth needed.
You can check you level cap in the Qualities -> Extra panel, "Wisdom Level Cap".
Let me know if anything requires further clarification :)
Ah! Thank you so much!
What is the benefit of being at home for reflecting?
Restoring Physical and Mental Energies before the next Encounter.
Ah just the usual home bonuses. Thanks!
What is Effort Threshold (on Mala Beads Lvl 2, for example)?
Amount of Effort needed to be accumulated for an Effort Tick, 1000 by default (you can see it in the Qualities panel).
so, I tried it over a couple of days in a browser, my thoughts:
Thanks for the feedback.
I investigated the freeze and to my best understanding it is related to "browser throttling mechanism" that aims to preserve resources. As you mentioned, reloading fixes this, and there is no progress loss as the game will auto calculate freeze time as offline.
In the non-web version running for days memory usage remains unchanged. So Steam release won't freeze.
Yeah, I believe memory hogging is a common trait of all webgl games, I was just very impressed that it ate about 11 gigs of ram at some point. To be fair, I was running an older version, and I saw you updated the game, so it may or may not be better now.
Can this game be released on GOG or itch.io in addition to Steam?
You mean downloadable version? It will, some time later this year.
By the way, this web version is already the full game, just can't be downloaded yet.
